Sunglow Pier Looking South

Daytona Beach Florida is a vacation destination unlike any other in the world. It is recognized for motor sports such as the Daytona 500 and the city hosts as many as 200,000 tourists during the NASCAR race and the festival celebrating Harley Davidson motorcycles, the annual Bike Week. Daytona is located on the Atlantic; the lovely beaches draw thousands of college students during spring break festivals like the yearly Black College Reunion held in March. Students come to let it all hang out. Unlike many Florida beaches you are allowed to drive your vehicle on the beach. This adds an extra bit of convenience and excitement to the average beach excursion. The city has been celebrated in many movies of the spring fling genre including “Spring Break” and “Revenge of the Nerds.”

Daytona has over 8 million visitors each year and they find a friendly and open city. The nightlife is supported by many nightclubs, bars, and restaurants. The hotel accommodations range from small economy rooms to large luxurious resorts. Whatever your budget or your appetite for fun, Daytona, Florida has it. It is the vacation destination that has won over the hearts of its millions of guests. Daytona can be accessed on Highway 1 that runs north and south along the Atlantic coast. For larger Highway venues that run north and south Interstate 95 allows easy commute to this vacation destination.
